DIY HAND SANITISER

We've all been there in recent weeks, the mad grocery shop extravaganza to get pasta, toilet paper and hand sanitiser. Walking down the isles trying to avoid people then you see Karen in the corner coughing and abort mission. COVID-19 is surging its way through country after country and it can be stressful to go to every grocery store within 20km of your home and still no luck finding anything! This simple and easy guide to making hand sanitiser will tick one thing off your grocery list this week!


Ingredients:

3/4 cup of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol

1/4 cup of aloe vera gel

10 drops of essential oil (of your preference)

Directions:

*before starting it is important to get the 3:1 ratio of isopropyl to aloe correct to ensure optimal use*

1. Pour all the ingredients into a small bowl and mix to combine!

2. Once combined beat with a whisk for a few minutes until the liquid sanitiser turns into to turn a gel.

3. With a spare travel bottle or any small bottle, pour the now gel into the bottle and you are ready to go!
