COCKTAILS ON A BUDGET

Running low on cash but still want to have a good night! Here are some cheap cocktails to get you through the night that aren’t to costly and still taste fabulous to kick start your night on town or to down on a good night in!

Lemon Martini

This three ingredient martini is pocket friendly and makes you feel like saying “shaken not stirred”. Simply mix lemon juice, vodka and sugar. If you want to feel like your about to down that $16 martini from the bar, dip the rim of the glass in lemon juice and dip in sugar for a coated rim. Why not add a wedge of lemon as a finishing touch!

Gin and Tonic

A classic drink that will never go out of fashion! Mix together both gin and tonic water, add some ice and lime wedges and you have yourself a quality drink from the comfort of your kitchen.

Rum and Coke

This one may take you back to the back yard of that 17th birthday party and you can’t seem to remember the name of the person who held your hair back while you threw up on the garden bed. A smooth blend of coke and rum add a couple of icecubes and reminisce on those preadult years.

Mojito

A little bit more technical but a classic drink to sip away on. You’ll need lime juice, a little bit of sugar, a small handful of mint leaves, 60ml white rum and soda water to top it up. You want to give it a really good shake and then pour into a tall glass.
